Background
Draven holds the highest rank among the Vael by the only law that matters: he has not yet been defeated. Where other Vael must plant and brace to change forms, he turns mid-stride. Where lesser Vael are drowned in the red wanting, he holds his own mind inside the beast.
His mother was killed by Dracula's forces. He has not forgotten. And he is no one's ally — except, quietly, the one no one would expect.
